Inquiries and contact
We process your email, country, operation type and requested service, plus information you choose to provide: name or company, phone, area, budget, timing, equipment, message and any attached tool summary. We also record the submission time, language and source page. We use this information to handle your request and discuss potential cooperation under Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. Required fields are necessary to submit the form; you can also email us directly.
Website security
To limit spam and operate the website securely, we use technical records such as request times and IP addresses in hosting logs. The application stores only protected hashes of IP addresses and email addresses to limit repeated inquiries. This processing is based on our legitimate interest in protecting the website under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
Service providers
We host the website on Vercel, store inquiries in Neon and send messages through Resend. We use Google Workspace for business email. These providers and their contracted processors handle data as needed to deliver these services. The database is located in Frankfurt; some provider support and processing may take place outside the EEA. Such transfers use applicable GDPR safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses. You may request information about the safeguards at our contact email.
Retention
Inquiries in the website database are automatically deleted after 12 months. Spam prevention hashes are removed after 24 hours at the next maintenance run. Technical logs follow the hosting provider’s retention settings. We retain email correspondence while handling the inquiry and any cooperation; where no cooperation follows, for no longer than 12 months after the last contact. If a contract or legal claim arises, related documents are retained as necessary to fulfil the contract, legal obligations or protect legal claims.
Tools, browser storage and cookies
Calculations and analysis of uploaded CSV files run in your browser. The original CSV is not sent to our server. If you explicitly attach a result to an enquiry, the displayed text summary is sent. You can save a project draft in local storage; form attachments use session storage. You can delete this data in the tool or browser settings. We store your cookie choice in local storage for 180 days. We do not use advertising cookies or automated decision-making with legal or similarly significant effects.
Analytics with your consent
If you choose “Allow analytics”, we use Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Limited) to measure page views, traffic sources and successfully submitted enquiries. Data includes pseudonymous cookie identifiers, device and interaction information and approximate location. Processing is based on consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR. The Google tag does not load before consent or when you decline. We do not send form, report or CSV contents or URL query parameters to Analytics. Cookies _ga and _ga_* last no more than 180 days; event and user data in Analytics are retained for 2 months, while aggregate reports may remain longer. You can change your choice at any time using “Cookie settings” in the footer. Withdrawal stops further measurement and removes analytics cookies without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing. Google may process data outside the EEA using safeguards under its data processing terms.
Your rights
Subject to GDPR conditions, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction and portability of your data. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests. Contact hamfy@bateai.cz; we may reasonably verify your identity to protect your data. You may also complain to a supervisory authority, in particular the Czech Office for Personal Data Protection.
